Champaign-Urbana Pride Parade 2018

The parade is one of many events that occurs over Pridefest, a weekend long celebration of the LGBTQ+ community in Urbana-Champaign organized by Uniting Pride, an organization that advocates for rights of the LGBTQ+ community.

A young girl walks alongside many other participants of the Pride Parade in downtown Champaign, Illinois during Urbana-Champaign’s 9th annual Pride Parade. People of all ages showed their support for the LGBTQ+ community by walking in the parade and sporting the rainbow colors of the pride flag.

Two women stand together as the 9th annual Urbana-Champaign Pride Parade comes to a close. Following the parade, many bystanders walked through the area of Pridefest vendors that promotoed support and resources for those in the LGBTQ+ community, as well as vendors selling various pride-themed products.
